Mr. Bill Carter, 57, of Woodstock, Georgia, died on July 13 at his residence.

Carter was born in Fullerton, California to the late Bernard Livingstone Carter and the

late Lola (Tootsie) Carter. He was a member of the LaFayette Heights Baptist Church, and had

formerly worked at McClendon Trucking and was employed with Stay Lodge in Woodstock

as the assistant manager.

Services will be held on July 23 at 2 p.m. at the LaFayette Heights Baptist Church

with the Rev. Paul Howard officiating.

Visitation will be held at the church from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. prior to the service.

He is survived by two sisters, Kathy Meigs, of Huguley, and Beth (Scott) McCain, of Opelika; one brother, Richard (Sheila) Carter, of Lanett; one niece, Nicole Carter; three nephews, Blake Carter,

Troy (Caroline) Meigs, Jared (Lindsey) Meigs; great-niece, Lucy Meigs; two great-nephews, Jace Meigs and Noah Meigs; special friend, Renee Smith; and fur baby, Abigale Rose.
