Mr. Ronnie Hooks

Mr. Ronnie Hooks, 61, of Five Points, passed away on July 3 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held on July 9 at 1 p.m. CDT at Rehope Missionary Baptist Church in LaFayette, the Rev. Harvey L. Jones, Pastor; Officiating. Burial will follow in Canaan Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Roanoke (Welch Community).

Hooks is survived by his wife Cynthia Hooks, one son, Ronrico (Precious) Hooks of Douglasville, Georgia; three brothers, Jesses James Hooks of Hartford, Connecticut, Stanley Hooks of LaFayette and Michael (Priscilla) Woods; nine sisters, Hattie Brooks, of Five Points, Lemerle Gunn and Gwendoly Hooks, both of Detroit, Irene (Jerry) Roundtree of LaFayette, Jessie (Godfery) Griffin of Fredonia, Shelia (the Rev. Sanders) Higgins of Miltown, Carrie (Curtis) Copeland of LaGrange, Dainne (Larry) Phillips of Roanoke, and Martha McCurty Welch; six grandchildren; father and mother-in-law, Mr. Jimmie Lee and Mrs. Beatrice Allen; a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
