Sidney Austin Harmon, 27, of Valley (Fairfax), died on July 20. Funeral services will be on July 25 at 11 a.m. EDT at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley with Dennis Harmon, Josh Barber, and Kason Miller participating. Burial will follow at Reed’s Chapel Baptist Church in West Point. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. EDT at the funeral home.
He is survived by his parents, Gerald Harmon and Tanya Harmon; brother, Gerald Harmon, Jr.; girlfriend, Nichole Butler; grandparents, Dennis and Sonia Harmon, Barbara and Johnny Thomas and David Fraser; aunts, Sharon Harmon and Spring Fraser; uncles, Tony and Michael Fraser; nephew, Eden Harmon; niece, Austyn Harmon, and many cousins and extended family members.
Sidney Austin Harmon was born on Nov. 18, 1991, in Opelika, and was a member of Roper Heights Baptist Church in West Point. Harmon enjoyed life to its fullest. He was smart, witty and loved to make people laugh. Harmon was always the life of the party. He was very passionate about riding Motocross and Alabama football. He also loved his Atlanta Falcons and Braves. Harmon loved spending time with the love of his life, Nichole. He loved her deeply. Harmon enjoyed being uncle Noo-Noo to his nephew Eden.
