Funeral Service for Ms. Mary Dowell, 84, of West Point, will be 2 p.m. EDT on July 27 at Ebenezer 1006 N Ave, Lanett, with interment at Westview Cemetery, 800 Austin Street West Point.

The Rev. Jessie Walker, Pastor, the Rev. Tony Avery, Eulogist, Bishop Billy Avery, Officiating, the Rev. Rodell Poole, assisting, the Rev. Twyone Ferrell, assisting.

Public viewing will be on July 26 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

Dowell will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to Service.

Dowell was born to the late Tom and Mary Lucy Avery in Chambers County. She passed away on July 18.

She preceded in death, her four brothers, the late Rev. Ora Lee Avery, Willie Walter Avery, PFC Lewis Eugene Avery and the Rev. Jim Otis Avery.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, five daughters, Norma Jean Lovelace, Mary Ann Murphy, Lorine Murphy Jennings, Sarah Murphy, Angelia Dowell and a special granddaughter, Sandra Tucker; two devoted sisters, Eula Avery and Eunice Purcell; 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; four nieces, six nephews and a host of family and friends.
