Tanya Felissa Jenkins, 51, of Valley, passed away at East Alabama Medical Center on July 20.

Jenkins was born on Sept. 20, 1967, in Opelika, to Roy Darryl and Shirley Tucker Rodgers.

There will be a graveside service on July 25 at 10:30 a.m. EDT at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett followed by a memorial service at noon at Ridge Road Baptist Church, 5465 Lee Rd., in Opelika.

The Rev. Harvey Miller will officiate.

Jenkins was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Ollie H Tucker and Pauline Rodgers; and her grandfathers, Thomas Tucker and Henton Rodgers.

She is survived by her daughter, Alisha Adamson; her son, Kenneth Jenkins; her parents, Roy and Shirley Rodgers; sisters, Angelia Brown and Rhonda East; and grandchildren, Kaylyn Adamson, Kameron Adamson and Mason Hames.

Jenkins had a big heart and would do anything that she could for anyone. She was very loved and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
