Company to continue providing water treatment to Lanett, Huguley

Veolia North America has received a five-year contract extension to continue providing water treatment services to the communities of Lanett, Huguley and the East Alabama Water District.

The company has been operating and maintaining the water treatment plant in Lanett, which has a permit capacity of seven million gallons per day, since 1994. Its current contract with the district lasts until 2020, at which time the contract will be extended to 2025.

“We are proud of our strong relationship with the City of Lanett, the town of Huguley and the East Alabama Water District, and look forward to continue providing the community with reliable, high-quality drinking water into the future,” said Bill DiCroce, Veolia North America, President and CEO.
