Disney’s Frozen JR. is presented by New Horizon Community Theatre, 411 W 8th St in Downtown West Point Thursday, Sept. 5 through Saturday, Sept. 7 for four performances.

Performance times are 8 p.m. ET each night with an additional 2 p.m. EDT performance on Saturday.  The musical, featuring younger, school-aged performers, is based on the 2013 Disney film and the 2018 Broadway adaptation. The New Horizon cast includes 38 local performers directed by Bill Nixon with musical direction by Anne Duraski and Choreography by Haley Walton.

“Don’t let the age of the cast fool you,” Nixon said. “There is a lot of talent on that stage. This is an impressive group of young actors, singers, and dancers loaded with energy, excitement and dedication.”

The performance will feature Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, Hans, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love.  Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as “Love Is an Open Door,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman,” and “Let It Go,” as well as new songs from the Broadway production.
