Lanett First United Methodist Church provided a covered dish supper Wednesday night to local first responders in appreciation of their ongoing service, protection, and support to the community.

Lanett Mayor Kyle McCoy, Lanett Police Chief Johnny Wood and Lanett Fire and EMS Chief Johnny Allen all spoke and thanked everyone for their generosity. This annual appreciation dinner started in September 2002 as a reminder to them how much the church and community appreciate what they do.
