This is homecoming week at Lanett High School. The students have been taking part in fun activities such as a door decorating contest.
There will be a pep rally and a homecoming parade on Friday.
The parade will start at the high school, go up South 8th Avenue and turn right onto First Street just past W.O. Lance Elementary School and proceed to the downtown area, where the route turns left onto North Lanier Avenue and continues on to the Cherry Valley Shopping Center, where the parade will conclude.
This year’s homecoming court (shown above) will be introduced in pre-game ceremonies of the football game between Lanett and Notasulga. At halftime, LHS Principal Bryant Lumpkin will crown one of the senior coeds in front Miss Homecoming 2019-20.
