The Funeral service for Mr. Arthur J. Walker Sr., 69, will be on Sept. 12 at Friendship Baptist Church of Valley, 3089 Judge Brown Rd, Valley, at 2 p.m. EDT., interment at Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 4829 Veteran Memorial Pkwy, of Lanett.

Public viewing will be on Sept. 11 from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mr. Arthur J. Walker Sr. will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Arthur J. Walker Sr. was born in Tuskegee to the late Mr. George Henry Walker and Mrs. Inez Gore-Walker. He joined Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church of Lanett at an early age.

Mr. Arthur Walker Sr. passed away on Sept. 6 at The Bethany of Auburn.

Mr. Walker leaves to cherish his memories, three loving daughters, Tameeka Walker and Angela Walker, both of Valley, and Fenny Walker, of Atlanta; two devoted sons, Arthur (Angela) James Walker Jr., of Atlanta, and Anthony Walker, of Valley; two loving sisters, Betty Walker, of Lanett, and Mary Lou Walker, of West Point; one sister-in-law, Ruby Walker, of Lanett; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
