Valley reports

Sloan Emerson Burgess, 36, of Salem, was charged with second-degree possession of marijuana;

Third-degree burglary and second-degree theft of property were in the 100 block of Walnut St;

Fourth-degree theft by deception was reported in the 3500 block of 20th Ave.

Sheriff’s office reports

Kelsey Marie Deason, 22, of Lanett, was charged with failure to appear – failure to display insurance;

Theresa Angelika Threat, 34, of Opelika, was charged with failure to appear – reckless driving and failure to appear – improper use of divided hwy;

Jeffery Earl Duncan, 31, of Brighton,  was charged with failure to appear – sex offender registration notification act and failure to appear – sex offender registration notification act;

Lamont Jamel Jones, 41, of Valley, was charged with failure to appear – possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear – possession of drug paraphernalia.
