ELMORE — The Springwood Wildcats (2-2, 0-1) fell to Edgewood 42-8 on Friday night.

It marked the final game in the Wildcats’ four-game road trip to begin the season.

Defensively, junior Trevo Williams led Springwood with five tackles. Junior O.J. Tolbert finished with four tackles in the effort as well.

Tolbert led the team on the ground with 96 rushing yards, and junior Kannon Key finished with 65 rushing yards. The Wildcats home opener is against Autauga Academy on Sept. 20.
