FAYETTEVILLE — The LaFayette Bulldogs (3-3, 3-1) broke their two-game losing streak on Friday night with a 57-20 win at Fayetteville (4-2, 1-2).
The win keeps LaFayette near the top of the 2A Region 4 standings, with Reeltown (7-0, 4-0) remaining at the top of the standings.
Friday night was the start of a four-game road trip to end the regular season for the Bulldogs, who celebrated senior night last week.
LaFayette will travel to Montgomery next week to face Alabama Christian Academy (3-3, 2-2), a team coming off of a 28-22 win over Headland School on Friday night. In 2018, LaFayette defeated Alabama Christian 27-8. The matchup against the 4A opponent will be another non-region matchup for the Bulldogs.
The regular season then ends with two region matchups against Central Coosa (0-6, 0-3) and Horseshoe Bend (1-5,1-2).
