Mrs. Bobbie Jean Hand Striblin, 72, of Valley, passed away on Oct. 18 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. EDT from Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home with bro. Phillip Saylor officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Lanett. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. EDT at the funeral home.  

Mrs. Striblin is survived by her husband of almost 56 years, Ross W. Striblin; two children, Tim R. (Betty Jo) Striblin and Teresa J. Cook; son-in-law, Jeff Saylor; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John T. Hand and Stacie Smith Hand; and her brothers, Randal Hand and John Wayne Hand.

She worked for Looser’s Greenhouse in Lanett and at Plant World in Beauregard. She was a loving wife and mother who loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
