Mr. Andrew Jackson Kittrell, 85, a resident of Valley, passed away Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, at Valley Park Manor in Valley. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Resthaven Cemetery in Lanett. Family and friends will assemble at the gravesite.

Mr. Kittrell is survived by his children, David W. Kittrell (Linda), Jackie Rosser (Ferrell), and Mike Kittrell (Linda); three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lenore Mullins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Syble Kittrell.

Mr. Kittrell was born in Cusseta on May 16, 1934. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army. He retired from West Point Pepperell and was a member of the Shawmut United Methodist Church.
