Mrs. Lillian Cobb Cauble

Lillian Cobb Cauble, 89, of West Point, Georgia. Passed away on Saturday, Dec. 28, at West Georgia Hospice, LaGrange, Georgia.

Mrs. Cauble was the widow of David Zimri Cauble, Jr. (D.Z.). She is survived by her son, Mr. David Zimri Cauble, III and his wife Lana of LaGrange; daughter Lillian Cauble Rogers and her husband Hollis of LaGrange; daughter Sue Cauble Robinson and her husband Lewis of Atlanta. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, David, George, Charlie, Lily, Lewis, Susy; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson, Sam Singer.

She was born in LaGrange, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George S. Cobb Jr. She graduated from Stevens College and the University of Alabama. She met her husband, D.Z., while in Tuscaloosa and they were married for almost 50 years. Mrs. Cauble was a member of the First United Methodist Church of West Point, served on the Board of Directors of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of West Point and LaGrange and the Vend-All Company. She cherished any moments with her family, especially time spent traveling together. She also enjoyed piloting and saltwater fishing.

Graveside Services will be held at Marseilles Cemetery in West Point, Georgia on Tuesday December 31, 2019 at 11 a.m. EST. David Zimri Cauble VI will officiate.
