Funeral service for Reverend Early Leon Williams, 72, of Lanett, will be held Dec. 11, 2019 at Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church, Lanett, at 1 p.m. E.S.T., Interment will follow in church cemetery.

Officiating with the Rev. James McTier Jr., Pastor, and the Rev. Dexter Foreman

Public viewing will be held Tuesday Dec. 10, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

The Rev.  Williams will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to service.

Reverend Williams passed away Dec. 4, 2019, at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham. He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Leon Williams and his parents JD and Ada Bell Williams.

The Rev. Williams leaves to cherish his memories; his loving wife, Emmie Lou Ray-Williams; two loving daughters, Cynthia (Charles) Lane of Palmetto, Georgia; Yashica Williams of Valley; one devoted son, Lamontez (Rosanna) Williams of Valley;  four loving sisters, Estelle Perkins, Doris (Jessie) Norris both of Dayton, Ohio, Ruby (Vernon) Holloway of Valley, and Aleasa (Willie ) Walker Landsdowne, Pennsylvania; two devoted brothers Jimmy C. Williams, and Eddie B. (Ruby Dean) Williams both of Lanett; four sisters-in-laws, Bertha Hardie of West Islip , New York, Alice Hall, Mary Ray both of Valley, Lizzie Kate (Roy) Pollard of Opelika, AL two bother-in-laws, Robert Ray of Valley, and Lorenza Ray of Waverly; eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Foreman Funeral Home is handling the Service.

Repast will follow at Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church.
