On Jan. 20.2020, John Eddie Hale went home to be with the Lord. John was born Jan. 4, 1955, in LaGrange, Georgia to Betty Rich Hale and the late TJ Hale. John was a graduate of Troup High School and West Georgia Technical College. He continued his education throughout his life adding specialty certifications to his electrical and electronic degrees. John was an avid reader and an exceptional tennis player. He loved biking and playing chess. 

John is survived by his mother Betty Hale, his favorite sister Linda Hale Moore, his niece Gretchen Moore, and his great nephew John Patrick Moore.  He was beloved by all that knew him and will be dearly missed.

The family will greet friends for Visitation on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2020, at noon EST at Bluffton Funeral Services in Lanett.

Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. EST also at Bluffton Funeral Services. Graveside service will follow at Prospect Methodist Church in Woodland Alabama.

The Rev. Paul Messer will officiate.
