Jerral Ashton Howard passed away peacefully from this life in the early hours of Monday morning, Feb. 10, 2020, with his wife, Kay, of 49 years by his side.

Jerral was born in Savannah, Georgia on June 14, 1951, to the late Jason Ashton Howard and Janet Sherrod Howard.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Pearson Howard, Carrollton, Georgia; sister, Diane Howard Mullins, Carrollton, Georgia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Allen and Ronda Howard of Carrollton, Wayne and Theresa Howard of Brooks, Georgia and Paul and Angie Howard of White, Georgia. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Faye Pearson Allen, East Point, Georgia, Pattie Pearson, Lawrenceville, Georgia, Margaret Pearson and Roy Johnson, Robert Pearson of Henrico, North Carolina. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Joey Mullins, Carrollton, Georgia and Calvin Allen of East Point, Georgia; sister-in-law, Sara Pearson Hoyle of Henrico, North Carolina.

In accordance with Jerral’s wishes his body was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
