Chamber readies for St. Paddy’s Day event

WEST POINT — The annual St. Paddy’s Day on the River will take place next Saturday, March 14 on the river in downtown West Point.

This is expected to be one of the Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce’s most attended events of the year. St. Paddy’s Day 2020 will be taking place from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. EST.

There will be lots of vendors with food being served on site by West Point restaurants.

“Come and enjoy the day with us,” said Chamber Director Carrie Royster. “We will have live entertainment throughout the day by such performers as Chasing Payne, Jonboy Story, Elia Langley and Blaine Rudd. It should be a fun event for all ages.”

A $10 admission charge will include a wristband that will allow adults to come and go throughout the day. Children two years of age and younger will be admitted free.
