Mr. Ransom Sims, a resident of Lanett died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020, at EAMC-Lanier Nursing Home in Valley.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, March 5, 2020, at 1 p.m. from Ebenezer Baptist Church, Lanett with Dr. Jesse J. Walker II, Pastor/Officiant.  Interment will follow in Handy Cemetery, LaFayette. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing.  Public Viewing is scheduled for Thursday, March 5, 2020, from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel. 

His survivors include:  four sisters, Grace Whitlow and Bernice Marbury both of Lanett, Adella Flemister and Geneva Sims both of Chattanooga, Tennessee; one brother, Daniel Sims, Chattanooga, Tennessee; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
