Mrs. Phyllis Ann Nelson Workman, age 88, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020, in Lanett. She was born on December 18, 1931, in Riverview, Alabama.

Mrs. Workman is survived by her children, Kim (Deborah) Workman, Kevin (Louise) Workman, and Gina (David) Watts; grandchildren, Jessica (Drew) Welborn, Brandon Watts, and Zach Watts; great-grandchildren, Maverick Hall and J. P. Hall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil G. Workman; son, Gary L. Workman; brother, Douglas Nelson.

Mrs. Workman was a member of Sunset Heights Baptist Church in Lanett. She loved the Lord and her church. She enjoyed growing flowers, cooking, and her cats.

Funeral services were held on Friday, March 6 at 4:00 PM (EST) at the graveside in Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett. The Reverend Rusty Letson officiated. The family received friends in the cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Chattahoochee Hospice in her memory.
