Newest numbers: Alabama has 138 confirmed coronavirus cases, Chambers County still has one

There have been 138 coronavirus cases statewide in Alabama, according to the newest numbers Sunday from the Alabama Department of Public Health.

There are no deaths. Chambers County still has one confirmed case.

There have been 1,602 total tests administered statewide. Locally, EAMC Public Relations and Marketing Director John Atkinson said the hospital performed 27 coronavirus tests on Friday, the first day of drive-thru testing. Atkinson estimated that less than 20 tests had been performed before Friday.
