Mrs. Janelle Yarbrough Stodghill of Valley went home to Jesus on June 25, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Willie Lee Yarbrough; husband, JD Stodghill; daughter, Jan (Roy) Miller, grandson, Josh Stodghill; and sisters, Shirley Allen and Kathleen Lockhart.

She is survived by sons, David (Kay) Stodghill, Chris (Lois) Stodghill, Paul (Julie) Stodghill; siblings, Ellene Rice, Robert (Sylvia) Yarbrough Jr.; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a huge extended family that she loved very much.

Janelle was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Stodghill TV Service. She enjoyed serving others, preparing meals, watching the sunset at Lake Martin, and rocking babies. She made wonderful biscuits that her family devoured. Janelle loved the Lord and spent countless hours on her porch swing, reading her Bible and praying. She wholeheartedly enjoyed worship and loved her church family at Valley Baptist. She will be remembered for her fun spirit, sweet smile, kind heart, encouraging words. She will be deeply missed.

A private graveside service will be held at Resthaven Cemetery in Lanett.
