Valley man arrested on sexual abuse of a child charge

On Wednesday, June 17th, the Valley Police Department arrested Timothy Jackson Wood, 44 of Valley, on a charge of sexual abuse of a child under 12 (a Class B Felony) after an investigation by the Valley Police Department with assistance from the Child Advocacy Center.
Wood was processed at the Valley Police Department and then taken to the Chambers County Detention Facility where he will be held pending bond.
Due to the nature of the charge and the age of the victim, no further details concerning this case can be released.
