Mrs. Ouida Mae Pike
1941-2020
Mrs. Ouida Mae Pike, 79, of LaFayette, died Wednesday July 8, 2020 at the Diversicare Nursing Home in Lanett.
Mrs. Pike was born in Chambers County Jan. 13, 1941, to the late Early M. Brewer and the late Blanche Womble Brewer, she was retired from West Point Pepperell, and loved people and loved to play the piano and was a member of the Penton Church Of God Church in Penton.
Mrs. Pike is survived by five children, Margaret (Lee) Webb of Valley, Michael (Wendy) Hamilton of Tallassee, Johnny Hamilton of Newnan, Georgia, Walter Hamilton of Huntsville, Texas, and Richard (Lindy) Hamilton of LaFayette; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Steve Pike; daughter, Sarah Cannon Ogle; grandson, David Cannon; brother, Wilson Brewer; sisters, Julia Saunders, Margie Norris and Esther Hornsby.
Graveside services will be held Friday, July 10, 2020, at 11 a.m. ET, 10 a.m. CT at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett with the Rev. Mike Campbell officiating.
