Although parents of children in all grades can benefit from the other section, a presentation by Frazelma Lynn, the founder/CEO of Frazelma Teaching Parents LLC. “We say all the time it takes a village to raise these children and so what we really try to do is just partner with our parents in this journey and just work together as they raise their children,” said the school’s principal, Allyson Matthews.

Matthews said this will be the first time they put on an event with a show and presentation. She also predicts Santa Claus will make a short visit when doors open, to take some photos.

There will be food and drinks, including a chili cook-off. Families can vote for their favorite chili made by the teachers for the elementary students. Pizza will also be served.

“We hope that they walk away with a full stomach…With the selections, we’re trying to get everybody in the Christmas spirit. And also we want them to walk away with some parenting skills and things to help them support their children,” said Matthews.
