Lanett seeking information on Nov. 13 homocide

The Lanett Police Department continues to investigate a November 13, 2023, homicide and is seeking information in this ongoing investigation.

On Monday, November 13, 2023, at about 4:37 p.m., police responded to the 2300 block of 2300 block of 20th Avenue Southwest, Lanett, Alabama, regarding an unresponsive male lying on the ground. Upon arrival, units located an adult male who sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased by medics on the scene. The victim was
identified as Delarick St. George, 36, of Lanett.

The shooting remains under investigation and no other details are available for release at this time.

Investigators are seeking answers and are asking anyone with information to please come forward and help solve this ongoing homicide investigation.

The photo of the victim was provided on behalf of the victim’s immediate family.
