The Georgia Department of Transportation will shift traffic near the West Point exit starting on the evening of Sunday, March 3, 2024.
All traffic from Georgia 18 at Long Cane Creek will be shifted at the southbound I-85 on and off ramps extending east of State Route 103.
The shift is required to construct new north and southbound off-ramps, including the reconstruction of the north and southbound on-ramps and the roundabout at SR 103.
The traffic signals will be adjusted at the ramps accordingly to fit the shifts at the ramps.
GDOT notes the dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
