Jennifer Roberts Lasseter, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2024, in Birmingham, Alabama, at the age of 64. Born on June 3, 1959, in Langdale, Alabama, Jennifer was a guiding light of strength and love to all who knew her.

Jennifer was a devoted lunchroom manager at Valley High School and W.F. Burns Middle School. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her commitment to her faith as a long-standing member of the Langdale Nazarene Church until its closure. Jennifer’s presence in the community was a source of comfort and joy to many.

She was a woman of many interests, known for her bossy yet endearing demeanor and her fighting spirit. Jennifer found solace and pleasure in her crafts, ceramics, and puzzles. Her love for dragonflies and hummingbirds was evident in the way that she carefully selected dragon fly pins and hummingbird pins that accented her outfits.  A huge Elvis fan, Jennifer’s passion for his music and persona brought her much joy.
