Robert (Bobby) Wayne House, a resident of Lanett, Alabama, passed away March 8, 2024. He was born February 27, 1943, son of Charlie Frank House and Ina Claire Jones House. He grew up with his siblings, Charlie Jr., Bud, Becky, and Lucy.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ina House, his sister, Lucy Simmons (Ben), his brother Roy “Bud” House, and his nephew Josh House.

He is survived by siblings, Charlie House Jr. and Becky House Tolar (Eddie). He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Bobby touched so many lives in his lifetime. He was involved with Valley Seniors, Valley Bowling League, Valley Friends with Horses, and Valley Model Airplane Club.

He was a kind and gentle soul. He was easily approachable and ha many friends. You may recall having seen him in earlier times riding his horse or later pushing his walker beside Highway 29 on his way to greet his friends at Walmart.

He will be sorely missed by many special friends including Ann Colvard, Julie Wall, and Abby Ledbetter.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family would like for you to keep Bobby’s spirit alive by touching the hearts and lives of the people you meet with acts of kindness. Ephesians 4:32
