The Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been extended to 2:00 PM CDT for Friday for Chambers County, AL, according to the Chambers County 911 and EMA.

The threat includes thunderstorms, heavy rains and a slight risk for damaging winds of up to 60 mph and quarter-sized hail, according to the Birmingham National Weather Service.
