Chambers Academy had its back against the wall for the better part of seven innings on Tuesday, but the Lady Rebels never quit as they produced a late rally and came away with a 6-5 walk-off win against Ezekiel Academy.

Coming into the bottom of the seventh inning, Chambers Academy trailed by a run. Ansley Carter and Makayla Foster started the rally with singles to start the inning. Olivia Daughtrey was walked to load the bases, and Gabby Coleman then ripped a single into right field to tie the game at five. Allie Paschal came up to bat and drove in the game-winning run with a single into right field.

The seventh-inning rally was impressive, but Chambers Academy started the comeback bid in the sixth inning. Down 5-2 heading into the inning, MaKenzie Gilliland roped a single into right field to cut the deficit to two. Then, Paschal scored on an error to cut the deficit to just one.
