LaGrange, GA., July 10, 2024 — The Troup County School System is aware of a current
employee assigned to Long Cane Elementary and Rosemont Elementary who was arrested by
authorities today.

No students or staff were impacted, and this incident did not occur on our
campus or within our district. We are cooperating fully with local authorities. As this is a
personnel issue, the information we can provide is limited at this time.
