LANETT — Mr. Marvin Brooks, a resident of Lanett, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019 at Hospice LaGrange, LaGrange, Ga.  Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Pine Hill Cemetery, Lanett, with the Rev. Nelson Fears officiating. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley is directing.

His survivors include one sister, Elizabeth Brooks Walden, aunts Ezella Merritt, Catherine Williams, Mae Fannie Flowers and Bennetta Hurston; sister-in-law Rosemary Brooks; god-siblings Diane (Leroy) Coleman, Pearl Brooks and Tommie (Gwen) Brooks; a devoted cousin, Jamie Heard; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
